I’m a queer, nonbinary, Puerto Rican/Mexican Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Gender Specialist at Magic Within Therapy. I work with LGBTQ+ folks, specializing in working with transgender and nonbinary people, who are navigating: identity, anxiety, depression, and the impact of living in systems that weren’t built for us.
In therapy, we name the systems that harm us and build space for humor, care, and resilience.

Families navigating communication challenges, supporting their trans loved ones, and life changes with families who have children 14 and older, with a focus on creating affirming, collaborative spaces where all parts of your identity are welcome.

Includes assessment session(s) and letter. Whether you are pursuing surgeries or hormones, I am happy to support you in your journey to receiving gender affirming care.

Together, we can explore the ways you may feel disconnected from or not affirmed by your body, as well as options for increasing congruence and euphoria. Wherever you are in your body and gender journey, we will explore together to find your magic within.

Anxiety and depression happen, but they don’t have to rule our lives. By exploring triggers, grounding activities, patterns, and needs, we can learn how to move forward without anxiety and depression leading the way.

When changes happen, it can be very difficult to find our balance again. Whether they are changes we wanted, didn’t want, or a combination of both there are meaningful ways forward.

Society teaches us that we are not worthy of care, love, or taking up space when we live within oppressed identities, often leading us to police ourselves as well. By gently examining and unlearning these internalized patterns—especially those shaped by discrimination and harm—we can reconnect with our agency and reclaim our power.
